We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Cedric L. Chambers, who left this world on June 26, 2024, at the young age of 50. Cedric was born on August 15, 1973, in Newark, New Jersey, to his loving parents Willie Jones and Willie Pearl Chambers.

He leaves behind his devoted spouse, Tarisha Wilson-Chambers, whom he married in year 9, and their four children Ameena, Al-Taquaan (Khalilah) , Nashirah& Sharifah . Cedric was a proud parent and grandfather to nine grandchildren. He was a loving brother to 16 siblings: Ronald(Sandra), Catherine ,Micheal, Talisa, Vickie Gonzalez, Alonda Chambers-Hinton (Teddy), Wytasha, Keisha, Laverne, Sabrina Jones, Alphonso, Demetrius, Beesheba Jones Douglas, Willie Jones, Barbara Ann, Lakesha Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews , family and friends.

Cedric was a graduate of Weequahic High School and spent his working days in various warehouses, providing for his family with dedication and hard work.

Known for his sense of humor and willingness to lend a helping hand, Cedric was a beloved member of the community. He found joy in spending time with his family and giving back whenever he could.

While we mourn the loss of Cedric, we also celebrate the laughter and love he brought into our lives. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
