It is with heavy heart that the family of Chad Douglas Storey, 44, of Highland Village, Texas, announce his passing on Wednesday, August 05, 2020. Chad was born to Douglas and Sharron Storey, August 12, 1975 and enjoyed his childhood in Holland, Michigan.
Chad graduated from West Ottawa High School in 1993 and continued his education at Hope College. While there, he became a member of the Arcadian Fraternity.
Chad and his long time girlfriend Amanda Daniels, shared a home together in Highland Village. Chad recently began a new journey with GOOYOH (Get Out Of Your Own Head). His vision was to serve and reach out to people to help them live a life full of happiness, positivity, love and light. Chad’s motto was to “Be A Nice Human.”
Chad will be forever remembered by his long term girlfriend Amanda Daniels, his 3 children: Kalee Storey, Cayden Storey, and Cash Storey, his step child, Cole Coulter, his Grandchild Lea Lou Coulter, and recent addition to their family Andrew Sellers. He is survived by his parents Doug and Sharron Storey, his Grandma Louise Storey, (preceded by death: Grandpa Richard Storey), his sister Stacy and brother-in-law Mark Sitzema, his sister-in-law Andrea Daniels, his nephews and niece Nathan Sitzema, Jace Sitzema, and Ava Daniels, his best friends Vilasack and Connie Phothisan, along with countless other friends and family.
Memorial Service: Saturday, Aug.22nd Grace Chapel 9530 Woodbridge St., Zeeland MI 49464. Church can accommodate 300 people without restriction. COVID19 POLICY at Church Service: the church is asking you to bring your mask, the rows are spaced apart and we encourage you to sit as a family group.
Visit - 2:00- 2:30 , Service 2:30- 3:00, Refreshments and Fellowship 3:00 - 4:00
Be prepared with a favorite memory or quote of Chad to write on a Note Card (provided), we will make a book for the kids and family.

Thank you for your condolences and prayers for Chad these past few weeks. In lieu of flowers for his service, we will be fulfilling Chad’s wishes and donating money to a homeless shelter.
Chad lived by this motto: Be A Nice Human. He would have loved it if everyone proudly wore this shirt.
