We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Charles Sr, who left us too soon on June 30, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. Born on February 26, 1965, Charles was the loving son of Kevin Smith and Sharon Allison.

Charles was a devoted father to his two children, Chatia Allison and Bria Allison. He adored his three grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

Charles graduated from Wells High School in 1982, where he was known for his infectious laughter and love of cooking. He always had a knack for whipping up delicious meals, much to the delight of his family and friends.

Despite his penchant for setting off fire alarms in the kitchen, Charles's culinary creations always brought people together. His family will forever miss his famous BBQ ribs and secret sauce recipes.

Charles passed away from heart failure, although we suspect his heart was simply too big for this world. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
