Charles E. CrumbakerZANESVILLE: Charles E. "Charlie" Crumbaker, 78, of Zanesville, passed away at 7:03 p.m. Monday January 25, 2016 at Genesis Hospital. He was born on October 10, 1937 in Zanesville, a son of the late Forrest and Mary Guinsler Crumbaker. He was retired from McGraw-Edison after 36 years of service. He was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman, and bowler. He was a member of the Zanesville American Legion and the Zanesville Eagles. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Peggy Crumbaker; three sons, Steven (Tina) Crumbaker, Nicholas (Brenda) Crumbaker, and Bruce (Staci) Crumbaker; one daughter, Rebecca Crumbaker; two step-daughters, Teresa (John) Rademacher and Linda (Roger) McBride;nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Steven, Chad, Matthew, Stephanie, Michael, Alexis, Bruce, and Ciara; five step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeanie, Jamie, Melissa, and Jessica; 19 great-grandchildren; one step-brother, Raymond Willison; two step-sisters, Shirley Tracey and Joan Summers. He also had many friends, including a special group at Brighton Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Crumbaker; one brother, John Crumbaker; one sister, Joann Crumbaker. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday January 29, 2016 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 30, 2016. Rev. Sue Ellen Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
