Charles Timmons, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 81 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was born on July 17, 1943, to Atlease Sawyer in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is proceed in death by Mother Atlease Sawyer, Brother Samuel Timmons, Son Patrick TImmons, Daughter Verna Revels and great granddaughter Avanna Collins. He is survived by his Spouse Mary Ann Hines Timmons and their children: Sarita Hines Sanders (spouse Derrick Sanders),Stephanie Timmons, and Charlene Hines. Charles leaves to chrish his life lessons five grandchildren Brandon Hines (spouse Faith A. Hines), Shakila Revels, Shamyra Revels, Martha HInes, Anthony Jordan Jr. and two great grandchildren Krishma Foster and Landon Hightower.

Charles worked at Jefferson Pilot for many years and was highly respected by his colleagues and peers. In his free time, he enjoyed reading the bible, working on cars, and practicing Martial Arts. Anyone that really knew Charles know he loved God and his Bible could quote any scripture at anytime without hesitation. . He didn't like to be rushed his favorite words were" Hold Your Horses, What's The Rush".

Charles will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We loved Charles but God loved him more, God told him to come on home my son take your rest no more suffering.
