Charles J VolantiNaples, FLCharles J. Volanti, 82, of Naples passed away peacefully on January 20, 2017. Charles was born on April 26, 1934 in Chicago, Il. to the late Vincent J and Josephine (Iacono) Volanti. Charles grew up in Chicago and graduated from DeSalle High School. He was the owner of Jet Fastener Company for over 40 yrs before he retired and moved to Florida. Charles was the loving husband of Joan M. Volanti, his lifetime love of 62 yrs. Beloved father to James J. Volanti and his wife Phyllis C. Volanti of Weston, Fl. He leaves a brother Joseph Volanti, his grandchildren Danielle L. Volanti and Brandon C. Volanti. numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He is predeceased by his son Kenneth C. Volanti, his sister Arlene Kulaga and his grandson Michael J. Volanti. Charles loved playing golf, traveling and most of all spending time with family and friends. Charles was known for his outgoing dynamic personality and love of people. Wherever he went he was the life of the party and the one everyone wanted to talk to. Charles made a major impact on his son and grandchildren and they will always cherish his long talks and words of wisdom. His famous line was; "Call me when you get home so I know you're safe". Charles was an outstanding man who lived a rich and full life. He will continue to be in our hearts and thoughts forever.
