Boden, Charles Linn "Bob" Jr.,Age, 95, died Sunday, August 6, 2017 at his home. "Bob" as he was known by everyone was born on Feb. 14, 1922 in Louisville, KY. He graduated from Anchorage High School in 1939 where he was a three sport athlete. He then attended Indiana University where he was majoring in journalism until the outbreak of World War II. He served as a Lieutenant JG in the United States Navy in the Pacific both in the San Francisco area and in Samoa. He returned to Louisville after the war and married his high school sweetheart, Alice Arterburn. Bob worked for General Electric Supply Company both in sales and later as district sales manager until he retired in 1981.Bob was an accomplished golfer who was a member of the 1939 Anchorage High team that won the KY State Championship. He was a star golfer at Indiana and continued to play until he turned 94.He was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and was longtime member of Owl Creek Country Club where he served on the Board of Directors many years.He was preceded in death by his parents Charles L. and Helen W. Boden, his wife of 65 years Alice A. Boden, sister Jane B. Robison. He is survived by sons, Dr. Robert S. (Jane) Boden, Timothy L. (Susan) Boden; grandchildren Jeffrey (Jamieson), Caroline Fagan (Patrick), Katey B.
