Charles Ellis, 65, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on October 19, 2024. Born on April 27, 1959, to Mary Lee Charles and Marvin Lewis Ellis II, he was a cherished member of the community known for his kind heart and infectious laughter. Charles accepted Christ at a young age, he attended Detroit Public Schools and going on to work at Detroit Edison. Charles was a dedicated friend and colleague, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a passion for music and cooking you could always come over and get a good meal. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Charles leave behind Wife (Jacqueline Ellis), Daughter Kimberly (Donald) James, Sisters Marget (Lewis), Dorthy, and Vivian (Robert) One Brother Marvin III ( Sheryl), a stepdaughter. Stepson and a host of nieces and nephews.
