It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Murriel, who was born on June 21, 1956, and peacefully left this world on June 3, 2024, in Raymond, Mississippi, United States. He was the beloved son of Henry and Chanie Murriel.

Charles attended Callaway High School and graduated in 1974. After high school, he proudly served in the US Navy, eventually rising to the rank of Fleet Admiral. His dedication and bravery in serving his country will always be remembered.

Outside of his military service, Charles had a passion for drawing. He found solace and joy in creating beautiful pieces of art that captured the essence of life.

Though he did not have any children of his own, Charles leaves behind a lasting impact on all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

In honor of Charles Murriel's life and legacy, a memorial service will be held to celebrate his memory and the imprint he left on the world.
