Charles Noble, 84, of Atlanta, Georgia, former resident of Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida, died in his home on January 3, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 22, 1927, in Combs, Kentucky, to James and Bessie Noble and served honorably in the United States Army in World War II and the Korean Conflict. In 1947, Mr. Noble married his wife of 64 years, Juanita Morris Noble. He worked for Proctor and Gamble at the Ivorydale plant in Cincinnati for 36 years before retiring to live in Starke, Florida. While there, Mr. Noble was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Starke, where he volunteered as a DJ with the local radio ministry. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Charles Noble Jr. and his wife Kathy, and Daniel Noble; his daughters, Peggy Hilleary and her husband Jim, and Karen Napier-Hoy and her husband Clinton; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
