Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Friday, June 30, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3325 N. 12th St., Abilene with burial following in Tye Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St., Abilene. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Bob was born on July 15, 1939 in Johnston County, North Carolina to Robert Johnson and Ozelle Rose. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Bob and was a Master Electrician by trade and he was a member of the Priesthood at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a huge fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys and loved supporting his Texas teams.Left to cherish Bob's memory is his wife, Sandra Johnson of the home; his son, Craig Johnson and wife, Lee Ann of Abilene; his sister, Linda Sullivan of Smithfield, NC; his brother-in-law, Peter Jennings and wife, Tera of Abilene; and many beloved nieces and nephews.You may view and sign the guestbook at www.elliotthamilfuneralhomes.com.
