He was born on April 6, 1941 to Charles Washington Sr. and Eula Bailey in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Charles married his loving wife, Sherry Washington, in 1960 and together they had three children: Sabrina, Bubby, and Lauren.

Charles proudly served in the Marines as a Sergeant, where he dedicated himself to protecting his country and providing for his family. He was a man of honor, integrity, and courage, and his legacy will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Washington; three children, Sabrina Washington, Lauren Washington and Bubby Washington; six grandchildren; Marc Jackson, Regina Jackson, Carla Jackson, Sterling Jackson and wife, Taryn Jackson, Kiara Washington and Kensley Washington; siblings Edith Jackson and husband David Jackson, Grace Hileman and husband Jerry Hileman. Charles will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for his family.
