Charles Shy, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 76 in Decatur, Georgia. He was born on February 8, 1948, to his parents George Shy and Addie Mae Shy.

Charles is survived by his loving partner, Addie Shy, and their three children: Steven Shy, Tenisha Chapman/Shy with spouse Luther Chapman, and Kalina Jenkins/Shy. He also leaves behind five grandchildren who will miss his sense of humor and storytelling.

Charles was known for his work at the Sweeping company where he never missed a spot. In his free time, he enjoyed his favorite hobby, fishing fishing (yes, he loved fishing that much).

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially for his infectious laughter and witty jokes. Even though he left this world due to a heart attack, Charles will forever remain alive in our hearts and memories.
