Deacon Charles Sloss, 76Muncie - Deacon Charles Sloss, 76, passed away on Tuesday at Ball Memorial Hospital.Deacon Charles Sloss was born on November 23, 1939, to the late Fred Sloss Sr. and Bernice Hall in Athens, Alabama. Charles married Sylvia Sloss. They were happily married for over 50 years. Deacon Sloss gave his life to the Lord over 30 years ago and was a member of True Vine Holiness Tabernacle. He served as a Deacon, Superintendent of the Sunday School Department and on the Finance Committee. Charles retired from Ball State University and Marsh Corporation.Charles loved reading and studying the Word of God. He was a bible scholar. He loved to pray, listen to quartet music and spending time with his family. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Sylvia, and his children, Deacon Frederick Dallis, Lady Denise Harris (Pastor Clyde) of Muncie, Lady Naomi Cross (Pastor Emanuel Sr.) of Chicago, IL. Eleven grandchildren, DaBrielle, D'Angelo, D'Koyta, Hadassah, Daniel, Tetreanah, Chelsea and Emanuel Jr. Siblings Deacon Fred Jr. (Emma) Francis Pride, Pastor Jimmy (Thelma), Emily Carpenter, and Apostle Wade (Bette) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends, Mr. Willie Gholar Sr., Mr. Lee Will Hill, Dr. Joe Minnetrista, and Evangelist Douglas Rollins.Funeral services will be at True Vine Holiness Church on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 12:00 noon.Visitation hours from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m.Arrangements entrusted to Gholar & Gholar Funeral Service, 900 E.
