Charlie, the son of Charles "Boutee" Walker and Daisy Bell Scott, had no children of his own but leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness to those who knew him.

With a sense of profound gratitude and love, we honor the peaceful passing of Charlie Walker Scott, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, who made it to his final destination in paradise on August 10th, 2024. Born on August 6, 1962, to Daisy Bell Scott and Charles "Boutee" Walker, Charlie lived a life brimming with adventure and unwavering spirit. He was a beacon of joy and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Charlie took great pride in his name and loved to introduce himself as CHARLIE WALKER SCOTT OF AMERICA—because why stop at just one title when you can have a whole country behind your name? Often with a wink and a laugh, he claimed it was a name that was too good not to share! This mischievous charm and the connection it brought him to his family and heritage resonated deeply within him, embodying the vibrancy of the adventures he sought. Known for dressing sharp and being a skilled fast talker, when you heard Charlie, you knew he always had something up his sleeve—usually a quick joke or a clever story that would leave everyone in fits of laughter! His wardrobe was as colorful as his personality, and he had an uncanny ability to lighten the mood in any room.

Charlie is mourned by his beloved family, which includes his sisters Martha Polidore of Franklin, LA, and Joyce Davis of Seattle, WA, as well as his brothers John (Alice) Jack of Virginia, Harry (Carol) Scott of Everett, WA, Michael Scott of Seattle, WA, and Charles Scott of Houston, TX. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy B. Scott; father, Charles Walker; maternal grandmother, Susie Mitchell; sisters Shirley Mae Williams and Barbara Lewis; brothers Sidney Jack Sr. and Jessie Davis; uncle Son Walker; and aunts Ester Walker and Mildred Walker.

Charlie was known for his zest for life and his fearless spirit of adventure. He embraced every opportunity to travel, often delighting in the experiences of exploring new places on his own. His journeys were not just about the destinations; they were about the stories he gathered along the way and the connections he made with people from all walks of life. He lived his life to the fullest, embodying the belief that every moment is a gift to be cherished.
