Naidl, Charlotte A.Charlotte A. Naidl, age 86 passed away on Saturday evening, November 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc. She was born on June 14, 1929 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Walter and Hildegarde (Reindl) Strohfeldt. Charlotte was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Manitowoc with the class of 1947. On July 7, 1951 she married Lester F. Naidl at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alverno, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2012. Charlotte was employed with the Manitowoc Tinsel Factory and White House Milk Company, Manitowoc. After her retirement, she cleaned homes and office buildings in the Manitowoc area. She was also a member of the Wisconsin CZECHS, the St. Mary's Home Prayer Group, Manitowoc Catholic Women's Club, Senior Center Choir, and a member of the Christian Singers. Charlotte was also an avid Packer fan who loved cooking for her family, singing and playing her guitar, and spending time with family. Survivors include her children and their spouses: Stephen and Sue Naidl, Judy and Tom Schulz, Joan and Steve Kiel, and Glenn and Lynn Naidl, all of Manitowoc; ten grandchildren: Tammy Herzfeldt, Candace Naidl, Jason (Jennie) Naidl, Justin (Nicole) Naidl, Sara Naidl and fiancee Marshal Black, SkyAn Schulz, Kristin (Jeff) Shields, Aimee Kiel, Brenda Staab and fiancee Rick Ratajczyk, and Jeff Diedrich; 14 great-grandchildren: Lillian and Michael Herzfeldt, Jacob, Juliet, Lucas, Emily, and Mathew Naidl, Cameron and Davon Kiel and Mason and Eden Shields, Brayden and Alexa Staab and Cora Ratajczyk; one brother-in-law: James Sheahan, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Pauline Strohfeldt, Manitowoc, and Perla Strohfeldt, Chicago; and one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Victor and Elaine Naidl, Manitowoc, Nancy Naidl, Manitowoc, and Katie Naidl, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Charlotte was further preceded in death by one son and daughter-in-law: Thomas and Constance Naidl; one sister: Irene Sheahan; Four brothers and two sisters-in-law: Chester and Elizabeth Strohfeldt, Elroy and Dorothy Strohfeldt, Floyd Strohfeldt, and Daniel Strohfeldt; five brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: George and Marion Naidl, Ray and Helen Naidl, Joe and Viola Naidl, Norbert Naidl, and Leo Naidl; and one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Lucille and Joe Sauer and Lucille's second husband, Ed Schreiber. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, December 3, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Michael Warden with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.The family will greet relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, December 2, 2015 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Cal Naidl. The visitation will continue on Thursday morning, December 3, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting
