Charlotte R. Beam 1941 - 2014 Charlotte R. Beam, age 73, of Kenosha died on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Sheridan Medical Complex, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 7, 1941, in Kenosha and was the daughter of the late Robert and Vera (Regner) Patterson. On Oct. 3, 1959, she was married to Donald F. Beam, Sr. After 10 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1969. While raising her children, Charlotte was employed as an emergency room technician with St. Catherine's Hospital. She was also previously employed with Crown Manor Nursing Home in Waukegan and Hospital Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. She is survived by her children, Vicky M. (Paul) Wegmann, Donald F. (Barbara) Beam, Jr., Brenda L. (Bob) Gardiner, Rhonda R. (Dimas) Acevedo and Katie (Donnie) Smith; two sisters, Pat Blonshine and Fran Rozzoni; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, William A. Beam and a brother, Roger Patterson. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation for Charlotte will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances directed to the family would be appreciated.
