Charlotte Carter, beloved mother, grandmother, and all-around life of the party, passed away on March 5, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 50. She was born on November 12, 1974 to her parents Jeffery Carter and Cheryl Johnson.
Charlotte is survived by her four children: Whitney T. Russell, Trevious Russell, Dontavious Carter, and Quentez Russell. She also leaves behind five grandchildren who will forever miss her infectious laughter and warm hugs.
Charlotte attended Washington High School, where she graduated in 1984. She always had a passion for cooking and could whip up a mean pot of collard greens that would make anyone's mouth water. Her family always looked forward to her Sunday dinners, where they would gather around the table and share stories and laughter.
Charlotte will be fondly remembered for her love of life, her ability to make anyone feel welcome, and her hilarious sense of humor. She could light up a room with her smile and had a knack for finding the silver lining in any situation.
While we will miss Charlotte dearly, we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her parents and loved ones who have passed before her. We can only imagine the joy and laughter that she is bringing to heaven now.
Rest in peace, Charlotte. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
