Charlotte A. Thompson1930 - 2015Charlotte A. Thompson, 85, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at her home. Char was born on March 5, 1930, in Kenosha to Arthur and Valberg (Torbensen) Sonnenberg. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. Char married Russell Thompson Jr. in 1956 in Kenosha. She worked as a waitress at Midtown Bar and Restaurant and for many years she was a clerk at Olivers Bakery. She enjoyed cooking and gardening but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends.She was preceded in death by, her parents; her husband, Russell and her sister, Joyce Scott.Char is survived by, ten children, Claudia Cronk, Pamela Dryer, Mark Giombetti, Jeff Giombetti, Russell (Jean) Thompson III, Ross Thompson, Robin (Randy) Norris, Randall Thompson, Reed (Klaudia) Thompson and Robert Thompson all of Kenosha; many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many friends.A memorial service for Char will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of service.
