On May 9, 1979 a precious baby girl was born to Christina and Harold Garner, whom they named Charroll Michelle Gaarner. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age under the leadership of Elder Cone Church of Living God and reunited her membership at New Life in Christ under Pastor Frankie Maxie.
She is a native New Orleanian who resided in Mississippi for the last ten years. She graduated from John McDonogh High School and received her Certified Nursing Assistant credentials in Texas, before moving to Hattiesburg, MS. She was a compassionate healthcare provider for the elderly, and had plans to attend Southern University in Baton Rouge to obtain her nursing degree. She loved taking care of people, she was a nurturer and was very passionate about providing a quality of care for patients. Charroll had an open door policy, if anyone ever needed anything her door was always open to them, if you needed a place to stay she took you in, people and animal alike.
She leaves behind a companion of 14 years and Fiance, Jeffery Moten. She is survived by her daughters Kendrica Dwana Garner, Christal Michelle Garner, Jania Rose Garner, son Lajon Maurice Garner, and stepchildren J'hanice and Jeffrey Spriggens.
We truly miss our Charroll, but we know that she is in a better place, free from pain and the affliction of illness. Rest in Peace our love. Until we meet again.
