Cheryl Flynn, 62, of Long Island, New York, passed on April 12, 2020. Cheryl was born on March 02, 1958.

Cheryl Ann Flynn. My amazing mother.

She was an amazing, strong, beautiful woman. Anyone who met her would agree. 

She was aggressive, intense and loving.

She was an amazing cook.

She was so thoughtful and caring.

She was the strongest person I have ever met. She endured so much, and much I believe she hid from us. 

She would take on the world and it would not scare her.

She was my best friend, my confidant.

She knew everything about me, and loved me in spite of my mistakes.

I unfortunately was not old enough to see you as a cop, but from what I hear you were an awesome cop. And highly respected among your peers. 

I know Malcolm, dad and I drove you crazy. But you dealt with us anyway.

I am so sorry for my teenage years. LOL

I wish I came to see you more. Im sorry for that. 

I wish I called you more. Im sorry for that too. 

Im sorry for allowing work and life get in the way of seeing you.

I hope you know how much I love you.

I promise to make you proud. I promise to keep striving to be the woman you dreamt me to be.

I promise to take care of malcolm and daddy.

I promise to be a good mother one day, and I know if I’m at least half the mother you were I am in good shape.
