It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Cheryl Williams, born on May 13, 1955, in Topeka, Kansas. She peacefully departed this world on December 8, 2023. Cheryl was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a dear friend to many.
Cheryl was the beloved daughter of Gerald and Leticia Mae Jones. She grew up in Topeka, where she attended Hope Street Charter Academy High School, where she developed a passion for learning and a love for education.
Cheryl embarked on a lifelong journey of love and commitment with her spouse Earl Williams. They shared a beautiful life together, filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Their love and devotion knew no bounds.
Cheryl was blessed with three wonderful children. Her daughter Bernice Williams, married to Jeffrey Brown, brought immense pride and joy to her heart. Charla Williams, married to Nelson Pierce, was a constant source of love and inspiration. Robert Williams, her son, was a beacon of strength and resilience. Cheryl's love for her children knew no bounds, and she tirelessly supported and nurtured them throughout their lives.
As a grandmother, Cheryl radiated unconditional love and warmth. She cherished her role as a doting grandmother to her five grandchildren. She took immense pleasure in witnessing their growth and accomplishments, providing endless love, encouragement, and guidance.
Cheryl's kind heart, unwavering support, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.
