Chester Calvin ShawSept. 19, 1929 - Nov. 26, 2016NILES - Chester Calvin Shaw, 87, of Niles, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at South Bend Hospice Home. He was born on September 19, 1929, to Robert and Mozella Shaw in Elkhart, IN. On October 19, 1950, Chester married Annette O. Brantley at a ceremony in Elkhart, IN. Chester was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Chester worked at Bendix Corporation for 32 years and served as a Korean War veteran.Chester is survived by his wife of 66 years, Annette; sons, Christopher Shaw of South Bend, IN, Andre Shaw of Niles, MI; brothers, Issac Shaw of Las Vegas, NV, and Tim Shaw of Grand Rapids, MI; sister, Lillie Jernigan of Dowagiac, MI; 10 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; son, Chester Cornell Shaw; and grandson, Contrail Shaw of Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Mt.
