Cheye Williams, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 18, 2024. She was born on December 19, 1957, to Emmett and Ann Williams.

Cheye attended Columbus East High School, where she graduated in 1975. She furthered her education at Kent State University and was actively involved in the N.A.A.C.P. organization.

Outside of her professional life, Cheye had a passion for ministering through songs. She touched the hearts of many with her music.

Cheye is survived by her partner, and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is remembered fondly by all who knew her

She will be dearly missed. May her soul rest in peace.
