Chloe Irene Arlan, 74, of Chicago, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Astoria Place Living and Rehab Center, Chicago. She was born on September 16, 1942 in Chicago, to the late Jay and Irene (Miller) Arlan. Chloe was a graduate of the DePaul University, and the DePaul University School of Law. Chloe loved gardening, travelling, and she also loved to sing and perform, and was a cast member for many years in the Chicago Bar Association's annual Christmas Spirits show, which is an irreverent comedy musical review. Chloe also sang in the choir at St. John's Episcopal Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Irene Arlan, and husband, Walter J. Mustain, in 2015. She is survived by her brother, Alan Arlan, his wife Thea Pazen, her niece, Adrienne Arlan, and her stepchildren, Peter, Matthew, and Carolyn Mustain. There will be a memorial service for Chloe on Saturday, November 12th, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John's Episcopal Church, at 3857 N. Kostner Ave., Chicago, IL 60641. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions honoring Chloe may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 3857 N. Kostner Ave., Chicago, IL 60641.
