Celebrating Christian

With heavy but grateful hearts, we announce the passing of Christian Paul B. Dumaup, a beloved father, brother, son, cousin, nephew, friend, and mentor. Christian peacefully passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 40. Family and friends surrounded him.

Born on December 16, 1983, in Manila, Philippines, Christian grew up with a passion for the outdoors and a deep love for his community. He was gifted with a generous and compassionate heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. He will give you the shirt off his back. He is genuinely generous to a fault.

Christian will always find good in everything, everywhere, anyone, all at once. He always seeks an opportunity to connect, help, and make a difference in a person's life. Christian found his niche in photography and became a great dad to his son Kai. Christian is the eldest of five brothers who love, respect, and adore him. Christian is a quick and eternal learner. He loves to discover things and be good at it.

Christian loves the Lord and knows he is not perfect, but he mimics the Lord's giving heart. Many of his friends will tell you how generous and unselfish Christian is. In true Christian generosity, he donated his entire body and organs to science. His compassion to help others was undeniable up to the end of his life.

Christian is survived by his son Kai, his mom (Mita), his stepdad (Primo), and his brothers Elijah, Isaac, James, and Simon. Ashlie - his ex-wife, aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, sisters, brothers from different parents, and his current girlfriend, Katye.

Please feel free to share your thoughts and photos.

Christian's life will be celebrated at a later date. The date will be announced on Facebook, Instagram, or this obituary page.

Family, friends, and colleagues will remember Christian for his work as a photographer, dad, friend, and son, but most of all, as a man who is unselfish and generous to a fault.
