Mrs. Christina "Tina" Carol Cruey Turnmire age 42, of Laurel Springs, died on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, N.C.Mrs. Turnmire was born on December 27, 1973 in Marion, VA to Gene and Barbara Tuell Cruey. Mrs. Turnmire was preceded in death by her father, Gene Cruey, mother, Barbara Tuell Houck, sister, Patty Patterson, and brother, Brady Daniel Cruey. Mrs. Turnmire loved to listen to music. She had a sweet and friendly spirit to anyone she met. Tina was currently working for the Copper Mine Grill in Laurel Springs.Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Minister David Lyalls. Burial followed in Scott-Blevins Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Badger Funeral Home. Mrs. Turnmire is survived by: sisters, Brandy Cruey and husband Bennie Osborne of Elk Creek, VA, Stacey Cruey of Lansing, two brothers, Tim Cruey of Crumpler, Andy Patterson and wife Cookie of Marion, VA, sister in-law, Missy Cruey of Crumpler, maternal grandparents, Dan and Carol Tuell of Chilhowie, VA, her boyfriend, Allen Pruitt of Laurel Springs; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.Words of comfort and remembrance may be viewed or sent to the family through www.badgerfuneralhome.com.
