Christina V. Horton1945 - 2013Christina V. Horton, 68, of Kenosha, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at her residence. She was born on May 17, 1945, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late William and Basilla (Oster) Metten. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She married Bill Bruff on Jan. 16, 1965, in Kenosha, they later divorced. She then married Bob Horton in 1978 in Kenosha. She worked for American Motors for 10 years. Christina enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. The lakefront drives, dinning out, movie going, sharing time with her loved ones, and her patio swing. Christina loved cats, anything Victorian, and birthdays. Survivors include her son, Christopher (Suzanne) Bruff of Pleasant Prairie; two brothers, George (Anne) Metten of Kenosha, Daniel (Conor Hanrahan) Metten of Kenosha; three sisters, Charlene (Ed) Groelle of Kenosha, Claudia (Chuck) Wallig of Caledonia, Rosie (Danny) LaMantia of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Katie Hill and Max Bruff; four nieces and three nephews; a best friend, Bonnie Bloom of Las Vegas, Nev.; and her first husband, Bill Bruff. She was preceded in death by her parents, second husband Bob Horton, and a nephew, Jack Andrew Metten.A memorial gathering will be Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, from 4-6 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services, with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. Private burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory8226-Sheridan Rd.
