Christine Williams, 67, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, passed on May 14, 2023. 

Christine Delois (Lois) Williams of Atlantic City, NJ passed away. She was born March 12, 1956 to the late Beulah Williams Pittman, and Theodore McDaniel in Enfield, N.C. 

Lois, as she was affectionately called, was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Sister. She was survived by her daughter, Shellie Williams-Lewis, two sons: Walter Simms and Dasson Wiggins. Six grandchildren: Brian Jr., Markus, Jayson, Nylah, Ocean, and Jalen. Four brothers: Milton Williams (Helen), Johnny McDaniel, Jerome McDaniel, and Clinton McDaniel. Four Sisters, Maxine Grice (Greg), Jackie Edmonds, Maple Lee Rickson and Roberta Scott, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends 

Lois was predeceased by her seven brothers: Woodrow Williams, Nathaniel, Larry, Joe, Moses, Earl, Marvin McDaniel, and one sister , Betty Jean Williams 

As a Home Health Nurse, she was praised for her professionalism, passion, and kindness. Lois cared for others with compassion and treated people with respect. Lois had a giving heart and wanted to provide for others. Even when she was not financially blessed, Lois found ways to serve her family and others in need. Lois would frequently donate a portion of her earnings to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, St.Jude’s Hospital, and Toys for Tots. Lois, was a vibrant and gregarious person that always kept you amused and always spoke her mind. She truly enjoyed long conversations and enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren. She attended Inborden High School and continued her education in Nursing. She loved to care for people and was employed in Home Health nursing until her untimely death.  

The end was sudden, the shock was severe,

we never thought such grief was near,

only the ones who have lost can tell,

the pain of parting without farewell,

faith, hope and trust joyfully we will be,

until the promised earthly paradise we will see.
