Christine Karen Michalski, 66, passed away at home on April 5,2023.

Born in Lodi, Ohio on December 21,1956. The daughter of Junior and Bonita Mathys.

Christine has been a very strong warrior and has fought many struggles in life. She has beat cancer 3 times as well as battled c.o.p.d. Growing up she was a wild child and often had to have her dad come and "collect" her and bring her home. She has been a great example to never give up no matter how hard life gets. She has been a loving and caring mother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her three daughters; Tammy Batten, Tracy (Nathan) Hood, and Amy (Ben) Brown, 8 grandchildren; Kellie and Kelson Batten, Hezekiah Hood, Lexi, Kendon, Jaeden, and Jaxson Brown, a sister Jean Nelson (Joe Brownfield), a brother Gary (Cindi) Mathys and many other relatives and friends.

Christine is preceded in death by her fiancé Ronald Miller, her parents, Bonita and Junior Mathys, a infant son Thomas Rush, and a grandson Kyle Batten.

There will be a celebration of life at Zion Refuge Baptist located on 1400 Lucas Road Mansfield Ohio 44905 at 1:00 on April 29th. We will meet in the chapel for a few words and a moment of prayer and than have a celebration of life lunch afterwards.
