Christine Jones was born December 13, 1942 in Philadelphia. She was the only child of Emma and James Patterson. She was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and worked in the health care field until retirement. She was married to James Ike Jones until his passing in 2012. She was full of life, sociable, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Her favorite pastime was a game of cards.

     She recently celebrated her 77th birthday before her passing on January 18, 2020 at Pennsylvania Hospital surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ike Jones and her grandson Maurice Jones. 

     She leaves cherished memories to her only child Joyce Jones, her Goddaughter Renee  Cuffee, 9 grandchildren, Shaneen, Kenard, Marcus, Darnell, Malcolm, Darrell, Angela, Terrell, Khalil, 21 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
