Christine PetersCIRCLEVILLE: Christine Peters of Circleville died on July 29, 2017 at Brown Memorial in Circleville. She was born on July 31, 1924 in Greenup County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William F. and Virgie Allen Justice. She was married to Wallace L. Peters who preceded her in death. She is survived by one son; Leroy (Sandie) Hagen of Circleville, three grandchildren; Krista (Randy) Jarvis, Kevin (Annette) Hagen and Kara (Mathew) Merz, four great grandchildren; Chelsie (T.J.) Patterson, Ciarra, Madilyn, and Zachary. She was preceded in death by daughter, Arlene, five brothers; Clarence, Everett, Elmer, Edward, and Glen and four sisters; Monnie Virgin, Dorothy Hyer, Betty Lee and Bertha Garrison. Christine was a longtime member of Pontius United Methodist Church and held several offices within. She was employed by the Kroger Co., Wardell's Carpet and was a seamstress to many. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday August 4, 2017 at Pontius United Methodist Church with Pastor John Ash officiating. Burial will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Wellman Funeral Home on N. Court St., Circleville.
