Christopher Edward Oliva was born in Jourdanton to parents Evaristo Oliva, Jr. and Jane Preston on Aug. 25, 1977. He passed away on April 9, 2022. Christopher enjoyed traveling, cooking and sports, specifically soccer, carrying that love of soccer with him well into adulthood.
Christopher loved the finer things in life and strived to obtain them, always carrying his humor and quick wit with him along the way. Christopher spent time studying at Kensington College in Decatur, Georgia and loved music. Chris’ life was cut too short, keeping him from fulfilling all his dreams. We pray that God has his loving arms wrapped around him and that he is at comfort with our Lord. Christopher was blessed with a large loving family that will miss him every day.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Selena Faith Oliva; his paternal grandparents Evaristo and Michaela Oliva, of Poteet; and his maternal grandparents from Michigan.
Christopher is survived by his father, Evaristo Oliva and mother Alice Oliva; brothers, Isaac Evaristo Oliva, from Poteet, Patrick Mitrovich from Georgia and Anthony Oliva with his wife Kristin Oliva; nephews Jackon and Josef Oliva, niece Jolie Oliva; sister, Cassandra Casarez with her husband, Andrew Casarez; and nephews Kai and Ezra Casarez.
Christopher has a large extended family with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him deeply. Christopher’s wishes will be carried out and a celebration of life will take place on Sunday April 24, and last visit will be Monday April 25th at 12 Stone Church Sugarloaf 2050 Sugarloaf Cir Duluth GA 30097.
