Christopher James Patrician, 51, of Boston Massachusetts, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on February 10, 2025 in Puyallup, Washington. Born on February 19, 1973, Christopher was known for his vibrant personality and his profound love for his family and sports.
Christopher served honorably in the United States Army and was a devout Catholic. His military career included roles as an Army Specialist, initially serving as a Bradley Gunner from May 29, 1997, to May 28, 2000, and later as an Ammunition Specialist from November 2, 2005, to November 1, 2009. His dedication to his duties reflected his commitment to his country.
Beyond his military service and in his personal life, Christopher was a beacon of joy and friendship. He was an avid sports fan, passionately supporting the Patriots, Bruins, and Red Sox. He also enjoyed playing sports, watching horror movies, engaging in Dungeons and Dragons sessions, playing the game Risk, and enjoying supernatural-themed shows. Above all, Christopher cherished the time spent with his friends and family, especially his children, who were the center of his world.
Christopher is survived by his children, Haylee N. Pyland (Patrician), Mark G. Patrician, and Christopher J. Patrician Jr.; his son-in-law, Dakota R. Pyland; and his grandson, Atlas D. Pyland. He is also survived by his father, Donald L. Patrician Sr.; his sister, Jennifer Patrician; his brother, Kenneth Patrician; his niece, Erin Patrician; his nephew, Kolson Patrician; and his great-nephew, Vincent Patrician. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia L. Patrician; his brother, Donald L. Patrician Jr.; and his nephew, Shawn Patrician.
Christopher will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery with a service scheduled for 10:30 am. A celebration of his life will follow from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Puyallup Eagles.
Christopher's life was marked by his unwavering love for his family, his service to his country, and his devout faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
