Christopher Joe Stice, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday October 26, 2024 at the age of 49.

Chris loved life and his family and friends were very important to him. He filled their lives with laughter, love and dedication. He was witty and quick to share a joke or hilarious anecdote to bring smiles to those around him. Chris was a family man through and through, carving out a life filled with warmth and laughter for he, Nicole and their two children Ella and Brogan. His children were his pride and joy and he was ever present supporting them in their dreams and activities. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, enjoyed comic books and watching wrestling. Chris proudly and honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a devoted employee of Horace Mann working in IT, which he had a gift for and was always willing to help family when they needed help with it in his off time.

Chris is survived by and will be remembered as the loving husband of Nicole, father of Ella and Brogan, all of Chatham; son of father William (Amy) Stice of Chatham; mother Susan (Neil) Fansler of White Hall; brother of Stephanie ( Kenny) Collison of Springfield.

As we remember that, while his journey here has concluded, the echoes of his laughter and the warmth of his smile remain with us.

Part of the journey is the end… we love you, 3000.
