Christopher Warren Reed, 61, of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away on Monday January 15, 2024, after his five-month battle with colon cancer. 

Christopher was born on April 17, 1962, in Frankfurt, Germany to the late David and Ellen Reed. He worked at Miller & Smith for 20 years. He loved to fish and hunt, and his family was his world. 

Christopher was a jack of all trades and a master of many. He was always working with his hands and building something. He was a staff sergeant and a master chef of the National Guard for six years. Which also means he was the master chef of the house and was always finding something new to cook up and loved to bake something new every Sunday!  

Christopher is survived by his wife of 31 years, Brenda Reed; his children, Christopher Debolt, Bobbie Jean Proctor, and David Reed; his 11 grandchildren; his two sisters, Jennifer Marshall (David) of Longview, Washington, and Stephanie Schertzinger (Johnny) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; his two nieces; his two nephews; and his give great-nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, David and his mother, Ellen. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.
