Christopher R. GreinerZANESVILLE: Christopher R. Greiner, 47, of Zanesville, passed away Tue. Sept. 13, 2016 at OSU Wexner Medical Center MICU, taken off life support after an extended illness. He was born on Oct. 17, 1968 in Zanesville while his father was serving in Vietnam, the son of Keith V. and Martha G.Greiner of Zanesville. Also surviving is one brother Matthew G. (Amy) Greiner of London, Ohio. Two special nephews Carson and Jacob. Christopher worked his early years in coal mining, construction, and dragline erection. He enjoyed shooting his guns, fishing,(he caught some big ones) and designing his own knives. His true love and joy were his two nephews. They all three made each other laugh, shared a lot of good times, and Christopher showed them how to do different things.He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Ruth Russell and Weldon and Jean Greiner.Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday Sept. 16, 2016 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat. Sept. 17, 2016 with Pastor Walt Gessner officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Sonora.
