Christopher Jason DavisAfter a tragic accident while doing what he loved as the owner and operator of A Monster Tree Service, Christopher Jason Davis, 38, a resident of Tallahassee, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017.A son of Charles Edward Davis, Jr. and Doris Willis Davis, he was born on March 29, 1979, in Tallahassee. He was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church, and loved all people, never having met a stranger. His passions in life were loving the Lord, talking to others about the Lord, his wife, daughter and family, fishing and watching the evening sunsets. He was also an excellent cook, carpenter and a master at his trade.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Stephanie Sullivan Davis; daughters, Ashley Christine Davis, Hailey Malchow and Brooke Malchow; adopted daughter, Summer Kirk; brother, Charles Edward "Chuck" Davis, III; and sisters, Christy (David) Smith, Angie (David) Harden and Pamela Davis. Many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive him.The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, October 2, 2017, at Abbey Funeral Home. The funeral is 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Morningside Baptist Church, with interment following at Indian Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
