Christopher Nelson, a beloved member of the Portsmouth, Ohio community, passed away on June 8th, 2023 at the age of 52. Born on August 27th, 1970, he lived a life full of love, adventure, and compassion towards everyone he met.

Chris was a man who lived life to the fullest, always exploring new adventures and experiences that helped him grow as a person. He had an infectious smile that could light up any room, and he made friends everywhere he went.

As a young man, Chris was passionate about sports and played football throughout high school. He loved cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes and never missed a game. He worked hard throughout his life, first as a factory worker and then as a skilled carpenter. Chris was known for his ability to fix just about anything and was always ready to lend a hand to someone in need.

Chris will always be remembered for his kind and selfless nature, his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends, and his infectious sense of humor. He lived a life full of adventure, and those who knew him will never forget the incredible memories they shared with him.

Chris is survived by his girlfriend, Chassidy, his children, Chris, Jacob, Lacey and Bryce, his grandchildren, and his siblings, Barry and Amy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
