O'Grady, Christopher Thomas Age 49, p assed away on June 6, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Spokane in Spokane, WA. He was born on January 8, 1968 in Fort Rucker, Alabama to George L. O'Grady II and Eleanor B. O'Grady. As the youngest son of an Army officer, Chris grew up in many places, including Lakewood, Washington; China Lake, California; Bonn, Germany; and Irving Texas. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, TX in 1986. He attended Centralia Community College in Centralia, WA where he studied engineering. Later he worked as a professional surveyor for Olympic Region WSDOT, Eller Corp of Newman Lake and other large construction companies in Arizona, Virginia and Alaska. Chris was married twice and is survived by his three children: Savanna, Caice and Michaela. He is also survived by his parents and two brothers, Kevin and George; and a sister, Sheila. His brother Kevin resides in Scottsdale, AZ and his mother Eleanor in downtown Phoenix. Chris was a walking, talking calculator and a natural born surveyor. He was outgoing, bubbly and quick to smile. Chris was a wonderful spirit. Some people are takers but Chris was a giver, always trying to bring out the best in other people. He loved football, music, computers, hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved and was loved by his family and friends.
