Christopher 'Chris' WellardChristopher Michael Wellard 30 passed away Feb. 4, 2015. Chris was born on Feb. 26, 1984 in Pocatello Idaho. He is the son of Michael William and Sherry Ann (Parsons Payne) Wellard. Chris attended Lincoln, Irving and graduated from Pocatello High School earning his letter in football. He also participated in student government. Chris started working at 15 he was a hard worker and always put 110% into everything he did. Chris always had a smile on his face, if you were having a bad day he would do something to brighten it. Chris went on to college and took auto tech graduating with an automotive degree. He worked for Jiffy Lube and was the general manager, in the Pocatello store. He hurt his back forcing him to look into another career. He started selling insurance, he loved meeting people and being able to help them. He was married on Aug. 26, 2006 to Tia Jo Littleford. A year later on Nov. 30, 2007, their marriage was sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Chris loved the outdoors, he loved going hunting and fishing with his dad. He loved taking the family for a days ride in the mountains, where we all loved to shoot. Chris and his dad would make a big sandwich and go for the day. He loved Honda cars and he owned a few of them. He took great pride in making them run real fast & be entirely to noisy. He is survived by his loving wife Tia, his kids Emma Jo 7, Abby Lynn 5, and Zane Michael 2, parents are Mike and Sherry Wellard, his sister and brother in law Terra Dawn and Scott Lough. His paternal grandmother Hilda Wellard. Tia's parents Michael K. and Teresa Littleford and her brothers and sister, Charlie (Camille) Johnson, Robert (Angela) Johnson, Jasmine (Chris) Blair, several beloved nieces and nephews. Tia's grandparents Barbara Littleford, Robert and Twila Cook. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Howard R. Wellard, his sister Jennifer Lynn Wellard, Grandparents John and Hazel Parsons, Royal Littleford and Paul R. Reid. Tia's grandfathers and many other loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Pocatello West Stake, LDS Chapel, corner of Eldredge and Hawthorne Roads, where the family will receive friends from10-10:45 am and at the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 North 15th Ave., Monday evening from 6-8 pm.There has been a site set up through Facebook... gofundme.com/Chriswellard.
