Cindy was a well-loved member of the Albuquerque community, passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 72. She was the last-born child to Napoleon "Pete" French (deceased), and Tina Bertha French (deceased), on July 04,1950, in Lamesa Texas. The family relocated to Albuquerque in Cindy's childhood days, where they resided until their passing. Cindy was beloved sister of Nancy Pounds of New Mexico, Pasty Parker of Colorado (deceased), Sandra Waddles of Georgia (deceased). Cindy married her longtime love Donnis Ray Fields (deceased) on August 03,1982, her beloved husband of 33 years passed away 2016. Cindy was loving & devoted mother to her five children Carl French of New Mexico, Gergory Yarbrough of New Mexico, Pamela Yarbrough of New Mexico, Michael Yarbrough (deceased) of New Mexico, & Steven Yarbough of New Mexico. Cindy worked in the medical field where she specialized in working with individuals with disabilities, she served individuals throughout New Mexico & Tennesse Communities her dedication & selflessness has an everlasting impact for who she served in those communities. Cindy & Donnis relocated to Memphis, TN in the year 2001 then in 2013, Cindy decided to return home to Albuquerque to be with her children and grandchildren. Cindy proceeds in death her parents, siblings, husband, & son. Cindy leaves behind her eldest sister Nancy, children & grandchildren, and a host of family & friends. Cindy memories of her life in New Mexico were filled with joy and happiness, particularly from the social gatherings and holiday parties with close family and friends. She had a compassionate and supportive nature, always ready to listen, offer advice, and encourage her loved ones through life’s ups and downs. Her unwavering devotion to her children and grandchildren brought immense joy to her life. Whether through a heartfelt conversation, a home-cooked meal, or a simple gesture, she had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special. Her kindness and generosity impacted countless lives, and her legacy will continue to be felt for years to come. as a remarkable individual who left a lasting impact on the lives of those who knew her. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother & grandmother, and devoted family member, she embodied kindness, generosity, and love. Her memory will always be cherished, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
