Stolpa, Cindy L.Cindy L. Stolpa, 59, Village of Howard, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016. She was born on June 17, 1957, in Newport, VT to Duane and Frances (Theberge) Lucier.Cindy graduated from North Country Union High School in Newport, VT. She joined the U.S. Marine Corps right after graduation and served three years on active duty. Cindy married Kris Stolpa on November 20, 1976 in Falmouth, VA. From 1989 to 2001, she was employed with the Marinette County Sheriff's Department, retiring as a Correctional Officer. Cindy enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, and traveling to Vermont.She is survived by her husband, Kris; daughters, Jennifer Bach, Theresa Stolpa; grandchild, Alexis "Kristopher" Bach; parents, Duane and Frances Lucier; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Lucier.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
