AKA "Dean"

On May 3rd 1952 Clairene Thames Hall was born in Newton County Mississippi to Wilmer Thames and Sallie Mae Jackson. From the day she was born Clairene brought a lot of joy to her parents and siblings. Clairene attended Newton High School and later on she and her famiy moved from Newton to Forest Mississippi. As a young adult she had big dreams to go to California. Therefore she left the  Magnolia State and went to the windy city of Chicago where her eldest brother lived. At this time she met someone special and had her first and only biological child Michelle. A few years later Clairene moved towards her dream state of California where she met the love of her life Jimmy Hall Sr. She felt truly blessed to have met him ( and the feeling was mutual). They stood by each other until death did they part. Clairene worked most of her working days in the health care profession as a Nurse. Due to health reasons she had to retire a few years earlier then planned. She was a breast cancer survivor for many years. Clairene loved to carry on a good conversation especially when it pertained to church, shopping and family.  She loved hats, shoes, reading, cooking, knitting, sports especially the LA Lakers, beaches and coming home to visit family.  When she couldnt come home as often , she made sure to call home to speak to her mom & family. She really enjoyed traveling & spending time with her husband. Clairene leaves to cherish in memories a loving husband Jimmy Hall Sr. of California & daughter Michelle & a daughter in law Yvette Hall, two son in laws Jimmy Hall Jr and Demitrius Hall, Mother Sallie Mae Thames of Forest, MS, six sisters: Edna "Douglas" Braggs of Forest, Mary " Curtis" Williams and Annie " Charles" Shepard both of Tampa, FL. Louise T. Bobbitt and Arlena Thames, Diann Thames of Forest, MS. Four brothers: Wilber Jr. Thames, Charles Thames, Robert L. Thames all of Forest, MS. L.C. Thames from Philadelphia, PA, in Germany at the current time. Two aunts Lucille Thames of Decatur, MS and Viola of Flint Michigan. Eleven grandchildren in Law: Myeshia, Bennie, Demitri, Christian, Dreama, Cody, Joshua, Shakinah, Jacob, Cayden and Angel. Plus seven great grandchildren in law: Aj, Mya, Jayla, Javon, Major, Magic and Amani. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Proceeding her in death: Father Wilmer Thames, older sister Lela Mae Shepard, two brothers Lebal Thames and Alvin Thames.

We love you but God loves you best

                                                    Peace be still

                                                    Psalms 23:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

You can to the family or in memory of Clairene Thames - Hall.
