RynkiewiczAGE: 93 • LakewoodClara Valentino Rynkiewicz passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2017 with her family by her side.Clara was born on September 19, 1923 to Theresa and James Asprocolas. She was raised in Edison, NJ and went to Our Lady of Peace School in Fords, NJ and later in life she went to Middlesex County College. She married Nicholas Valentino in 1939 and moved to Fords, NJ where she raised her family. Clara went to work for Westinghouse in Metuchen, NJ in 1953 she worked there until 1969 when she went to work for Eastern Airlines as a reservationist. She ended her working career at Eastern Airlines in 1987. A few years after she married her second husband John R. Rynkiewicz and they moved to Lakewood, NJ to a beautiful retirement community. She is predeceased by her parents Theresa and James Asprocolas her brothers George, Rudy, Milton Asprocolas, her sister Mary Knazik, her first husband Nicholas Valentino, second husband John Rynkiewicz, her stepson Richard Rynkiewicz and some nieces and nephews.She is survived by her daughter Enes and son-in-law Gary Holsten, her stepdaughter Kathy and husband William Hyslop, her son Frank and daughter-in-law Barbara Valentino, daughter-in-law Adell Rynkiewicz, her sister Rita and husband Joe Huddleston, her sister Theresa and husband Walter Coanshock, her grandchildren Jackie Valentino, Valerie Hill, Jill Valentino, Scott Holsten, Jonathan Hyslop, Chris Hyslop and Ryann Uban.She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Clara was a great seamstress, she could sew prom dresses to slip covers, you name it she could sew it. She was a very good care giver, a great cook and baker. She was the best mother a son and daughter could have or ever wish for. She was a communicant of St. Luke's RC Church, Toms River for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Visiting will be Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10:30am at St. Luke's RC Church, Toms River, please arrive at the funeral home 9:30am. Cremation will be private. www.silvertonmemorial.com.
