YORK Clara (Wagner) McClure, 93, died Friday, February 27, 2015, at Rest Haven York. She was the wife of the late Kenneth E. McClure, to whom she was married for 61 years. Clara was born on October 11, 1921, in Brandon, Minn., the daughter of the late Gabriel and Anna Wagner. She willed her body to the Humanity Gifts Registry Program. Clara was employed at the American Lung Association in York as Director of Public Information and retired after twenty years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and as a member of the Young at Heart Choir. She was also a member of the Catholic Women's Club as well as the Briarwood and Heritage Hills Golf Leagues. She is survived by a son, Michael, and his wife, Betty; four grandchildren, Katie, John, Jennifer and Christopher; and one great-granddaughter. Preceding her in death were four sisters, Rose Maertens, Portland, Ore.; Hilda Wussow, Hudson, Wisc., Adelaide Kuyava, St. Cloud, Minn., and Dora Nootnagel, Brandon, Minn.; three brothers, Roman Wagner and Adolph Wagner, Evansville, Minn.; and Alfred Wagner who died in infancy. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. in the Daily Chapel at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, York, with the Rev. Louis Petruha OFM Cap as celebrant. Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory.
