Clara was born on December 11, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa.Clara is survived by her children, Frances (Bob) Nuzum, Tom, Steve, and Donnie Laurie; step-children, Jimmy, Tony, Johnny, and Danny Laurie; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 34 great-great-grandchildren.Clara was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Laurie; brothers, Don Woodyard and Teddy Buffington; and husband, Franklin Mills Green.Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2017 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 24th held at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Clara.
