Clarence J. Ostermeyer1930 -- 2017Clarence J. Ostermeyer, 86, a resident of Kenosha, died Saturday Feb. 25, 2017, at his residence. Clarence was born on July 3, 1930, in Plain, Wis., to Herman and Margaret (Blau) Ostermeyer. He served in the U.S. Army and ultimately retired from Wisconsin Centrifugal in Waukesha where he worked as a machinist for many years. He married Theresa Nesheim in Waukesha and they would later divorce. He then married Mary (Grochowski) Childs who preceded him in death. Clarence was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. He loved to build models of airplanes and ships and enjoyed putting puzzles together. He was an avid card player who loved a good game of Sheepshead. Clarence is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Craig) Sullivan of Iowa; his sons, Michael Ostermeyer of Mequon and Brad Ostermeyer of Kenosha and by his step-daughters, Lisa (Dave) Giesfeldt of Sussex and Andrea Childs of Muskego. He is further survived by his grandchildren, one brother, two sisters and by his dear friend Wendy (Jeffery Hartnell) Siepler of Lake Geneva. Preceding Clarence in death were his parents, his wife, Mary; his daughter, Beth and several brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church in Kenosha. (7117-14th Avenue) Visitation with the family will be on Saturday March 4, 2017, at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass. Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
