Claude Hudson was born March 10, 1942 in Wilcox County, Alabama to the late Mac Duffy and Charlotte Hudson. Wilcox County is where he was raised and completed most of his schooling. He was baptized in O’Zion Baptist Church where he became a member at an early age. Shortly after he joined Six Star Jubilee Gospel Group. In 1961 Claude relocated to Queens, NY where he established a life for himself, his wife and 3 beautiful children.
He was a well known and loved person by many. In the neighborhood, he was known as “Uncle Claude” to young and old, related or not. To know him was to love him.
Claude departed this life on Tuesday July 18th, he was surrounded by family and friends who loved and supported him unconditionally. He is survived by his children; Claude Hudson Jr., Celice Hudson, Charlotte Hudson. He leaves 3 grandchildren, Jamell McNealy, Jahve Hudson, and Cai-el Smith. 5 sisters: Venus, Claudia Mae, Desire Mae, Anita, and Joanne, 1 brother Alonzo and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and an abundance of friends.
