Clayton L. Talbott, 64, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 in Brawley California from natural causes. He was born on March 5, 1946 in Southgate, California.Clayton joined the United States
Army at age 17 and served in Korea as a Radar Operator. He married Connie on July 4, 1972 in Burney, California. After discharge from the Army, he moved to Shasta County and began a 30 year career in the wood industry. In 1994, at age 48, went to school in San Francisco to become an embalmer and funeral director. He graduated in 1995 from San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. He moved to Yuma in 1999 where he worked at Yuma Mortuary and Sunset Vista. In 2004, he moved to Brawley, California to work at Frye Chapel and Mortuary, where he was employed for almost six years.Clayton was an avid hunter, fisherman and poker player. He was a one time member of
VFW in Burney, California, Mooselodge in Redding and the American Legion and
Elks Lodge in Yuma.Clayton is survived by his wife, Connie Talbott of Brawley, California; children, Sarah Talbott and Adam Talbott both of Brawley, California; siblings, Jean Holsey of Orangevale, California, Ernie Allen Talbott of Livermoore, California and Chris Talbott of California. A Memorial service will be held at Frye Chapel and Mortuary on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 1:00p.m. and will be officiated by Paster Mike Lasky.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to and the .
